Funerals & Memorials

An important part of life is the last farewell -  but death is never easy - no matter what age or circumstance and not all relationships are joyous and so it is imperative that the needs of the grieving family are met sensitively.

It is also important that the deceased is remembered for not only for what they did in life but also for their qualities, values and the legacy and the ripple of influence which continues.

This is an opportunity to truly celebrate and honour the life of the deceased and acknowledge the impact their life has had on others.  It can also be the beginning of the healing process for family members and friends so they can begin to move forward with a sense of acceptance and inner peace.

It is also important that the needs of each family and the decesed person are met and I have been fortunate to coordinate with Ministers, Priests, Rabbis and Buddhist Monks to fulfil any religious or spiritual needs.

A variety of options for venues are available from chapels in Funeral homes,  Springvale Botanical Cemetery or Bunurong Memorial Park, to a garden setting, golf or sailing clubs or even at home.  I am privileged to be a preferred celebrant for Melbourne’s Premier Funeral Directors and am available for personal consultations.

Celebrant  fee of $650* includes initial phone chat, Zoom or personal meeting; guidance in deciding  Funeral  Director, venue etc  (if needed) and assistance in planning /creating the ceremony structure and wording .

*Additional charges may apply if a ceremony is followed by a burial and or travel.
