Notice of Intention to Marry
Must be completed and received by the Celebrant no less than one month and one day prior to the date of marriage. Download your own copy.
Proof of Identity
An original birth certificate (if born in Australia) or passport must be sighted by the Celebrant prior to the marriage. If you have been previously married your Divorce Certificate or Death Certificate of your spouse must also be provided confirming your eligibility to marry. Contact the Office of Births, Deaths & Marriages in the state of your birth for details. Allow at least two weeks.
